Dr. Alaine Cunningham

Dr. Alaine Cunningham was born in Ireland and raised in London, Dr. Cunningham completed her medical degree at the University of Warwick, UK. She worked as a doctor in a variety of specialties in the UK before emigrating to South Australia in 2013. We are lucky enough to have had Dr. Cunningham as a valued part of the Russell Clinic team since 2020.
As a generalist, Dr. Cunningham has an interest in all aspects of general practice. She has particular experience in emergency medicine, sexual health (including PREP prescribing), women’s health (including implanon insertion and removal) and paediatrics. Dr. Cunningham also performs skin lesion biopsy/excisions and suturing.
In her spare time, Dr. Cunningham plays the classical guitar and enjoys the outdoors, particularly kayaking, cycling and jogging. Since living in Australia, Dr. Cunningham also enjoys falling off surf boards whilst attempting to surf.
Dr. Cunningham works Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and she is happy to see new patients.
