Dr. Frances Adams

Dr Fran Adams studied Medicine at the University of Leeds (England) and graduated in 2000. Following further training, she worked as a GP in England for 17 years before moving to Adelaide with her family in 2021. Alongside her work as a GP, Fran was heavily involved in Medical Education and Research in Primary Care.
Since arriving in Australia, Fran has quickly gained her FRACGP and has been working in Happy Valley for the past 2 years. She loves the generalness of General Practice, working holistically and collaboratively with her patients. Additionally, she has specialist interests in Women’s Health (including pregnancy and menopause), Contraception (including Implanon fittings), Mental Health, Paediatrics, Diabetes and Respiratory Medicine.
Outside of work, Fran enjoys running and swimming and loves watching many live sports. As a relatively new arrival to Australia, she loves exploring this fascinating country and is very happy to have suggestions of where she should visit next!
Fran works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and is happy to take on new patients.
